Fairmont Heritage Place, Mayakoba

We have just had a wonderful stay in a 4-bedroom villa at Fairmont Heritage Place. We were very well looked after by Edgar and Ali who did everything they could to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We contacted them to arrange bookings for trips, restaurants, shopping and they were so helpful each time. We enjoyed delicious breakfasts, lunches and poolside food at Las Brisas and Dmitri, Alexander, Angel and Felipe couldn't have done more to make it a pleasurable experience. The service from all the staff was impeccable every day. We enjoyed fantastic massages and a fabulous spa experience at Fairmont Spa. Margarita and Mindy were both highly experienced therapists and put us at ease straight away. We didn't want to leave. We had a fun afternoon learning macrame under the careful instruction of Luis and Sandy and all left with our decorations feeling pleased with ourselves. The best meals were those we had at Gaia and Tauro. Angel was fantastic as our waiter there. Overall, it was a fantastic holiday and we would love to return one day.

A Magical Stay at the Fairmont Mayakoba – Thanks to Incredible Service from Agustín. We recently returned from the most wonderful stay at the Fairmont Heritage Mayakoba, and I cannot say enough about the exceptional service we received—particularly from Agustín Ortiz and Monica Cervantes. Agustín was the heart of our experience. From the moment he introduced himself, we knew we were in kind and capable hands. He went above and beyond in every way—whether it was helping us navigate the resort, securing last-minute dinner reservations, arranging transportation, or simply checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. His warmth, kindness, and responsiveness made all the difference. Every interaction with him was marked by genuine care and professionalism, and he anticipated our needs before we even voiced them. Monica was also incredibly helpful, and her gracious demeanor added to the sense that we were truly being cared for during our stay. To be completely transparent, our arrival was a bit rocky—we had some difficulty getting oriented and didn’t initially feel well-supported by our first butler. However, after a chance encounter with the General Manager, we shared some of our concerns and were amazed by how swiftly and thoughtfully he responded. He genuinely listened and took action to ensure our experience turned around. That interaction alone speaks volumes about the Fairmont’s commitment to excellence and guest satisfaction. From that point on, every aspect of our stay felt elevated and personalized. The Fairmont Mayakoba itself is stunning—nestled between lush mangroves and pristine beaches. We loved how serene and spacious the property felt. The beach was beautiful, and the water activities (many of which were complimentary) kept our family entertained for hours. The pools were thoughtfully designed, with enough variety and tucked-away corners that you could always find a peaceful spot to relax. We stayed in a villa at the Fairmont Heritage, and it was perfect—spacious, beautifully appointed, and stocked with the best linens and beds. The daily housekeeping was outstanding; our room was always immaculate, and the attention to detail was next level. Another highlight was the dining. With so many restaurants on-site, we didn’t even get to try them all! From casual beachfront bites to elegant dinners, everything we tasted was delicious—and with 24-hour room service, we never had to worry about late-night cravings. Our family made memories we will cherish forever—thanks in large part to the people who made us feel so welcome and cared for. We can’t wait to return to the Fairmont Mayakoba and hope to see Agustín and Monica again on our next visit. This resort is a true gem, and the people who work there make it shine even brighter.

Another outstanding stay at Fairmont Heritage Place Mayakoba, in Riviera Maya, Mexico. The residences are superb but what is most outstanding is the attentive and friendly staff, both in the residences area and throughout the entire property. The level of ongoing care is evident everywhere, and the facilities, food, and activities offerings are outstanding. This is truly a gem of a property.

We stayed in a 3-bedroom residence at Fairmont Heritage Place Mayakoba in January 2026. The property itself is absolutely stunning. The grounds are immaculate, the beach and pools are beautiful, and the residences are spacious and well-appointed. The butler service at Heritage Place was exceptional — Rodrigo and Fernando were attentive, proactive, and truly enhanced our stay. During our visit, we did encounter an issue related to billing that was frustrating at the time. However, I want to update this review to reflect that senior leadership engaged directly, took the matter seriously, and ultimately resolved all of my concerns in a thoughtful and professional manner. I genuinely appreciate the effort made to address the situation and restore confidence in the experience. That level of follow-through speaks to the standards the property aims to uphold. Overall, it is a beautiful resort with an outstanding on-property team. I look forward to returning with my family.

My family including 3 adult daughters and a boyfriend just returned from Fairmont Heritage Place (HP) Mayakoba. After staying at the main Fairmont resort next door for the last two years, we wanted to try something different. Overall a great experience! We had a 3-bedroom penthouse villa (building 11) that overlooked a beautiful pool. It was extremely clean, modern, and had lots of room to spread out. At HP you have access to additional pools and an 'owners' restaurant that serves breakfast and lunch; food was delicious. We ate dinners at Saffron (Banyon Tree), Brisas, La Laguna, Bassano, and Tauro, all excellent. The entire Mayakoba resort is very spread out, so if you don't like to walk or bike this may be something to consider. However, we loved all the space and enjoyed biking to/from beach. There are also frequent golf cart shuttles. 'Butler' service is part of the benefit staying at HP, and we were very lucky to have Alejandro and Daniel, who were very kind and responded to everything we needed. Daniel helped us schedule dinner reservations and airport transfers before we came, which I would highly recommend if you have a larger group. They can pretty much do anything you need. I wish I remembered all the kind servers thru out the entire Fairmont resort but do recall Marcos (pool cabana attendant) and Rodrigo (La Laguna), thank you for everything! My family is already asking to go back again next year!

This was our third time to Fairmont at mayakoba, but the last two times at the Fairmont Heritage Place and it was amazing, again. Staying at the Heritage Place is luxurious and roomy but the best part is the service. The last two times, Monica Cervantes helped our family before and during our stay and was excellent, timely and invaluable to making our stay the best. We had great food, golf, experiences and stellar service.

Fairmont Mayakoba was wonderful! Clean, well kept, lots of restaurants and activities. We had a wonderful girls trip! 5 stars! ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

One of the top vacations we have taken as a family. Accommodations were awesome, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the overall resort was 1st class. We will definitely make this trip again.
